Our Mission

Access to justice begins with reliable service of process. Every civil lawsuit, temporary restraining order, unlawful detainer eviction, and subpoena depends on proper, documented delivery. Every order is handled with the requirements of the California Code of Civil Procedure in mind.

California Statutory Compliance (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 22350)

• Under California Business and Professions Code § 22350, process server registration and the mandatory $2,000 corporate surety bond or cash deposit (§ 22353) are filed with the County Clerk (such as the Kern County Clerk at 1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93301)—never with the Sheriff.
• Proofs of Service executed on mandatory Judicial Council Form POS-010 completed by a registered process server list the server’s county of registration and registration number; under California Evidence Code § 647, such a return carries a presumption that the facts stated in it are true.

Coverage

Service requests are accepted for addresses throughout Kern County — from the high desert communities of Ridgecrest, Mojave, and California City to the agricultural centers of Delano, Wasco, Shafter, and Arvin, and the mountain communities of Tehachapi and Lake Isabella.

Field Standards

Service is performed in line with the statutory requirements of the California Code of Civil Procedure and local Superior Court rules. Field attempts for individual defendants are staggered across morning, evening, and weekend hours to satisfy reasonable diligence standards before substituted service under CCP § 415.20(b).
